Presidents

Albert Kang is one of the

co-presidents of the Hiking Heroes.

His desire to help clean the environment began after seeing

videos of how the Earth was slowly dying due to different crises such as global warming. Through Hiking Heroes, he hopes that our club can ultimately help make a difference, however small or large our impact may be.

"I found a passion to help the environment after going on hikes and seeing the paths littered. We are able to help the environment, small steps at a time, by picking up trash while going on hikes and spreading awareness through events which you can see recaps of throughout our website! Through Hiking Heroes, I want more people to get involved in saving the environment, especially with our chapters across the US and Mid Atlantic Region."
